Our skilled team employs a modified KUKA robot, specifically designed for the production of large-scale 3D prints. This cutting-edge technology ensures that your desired prints are created with utmost precision and quality.
Our Materials
Noztek collaborates with numerous renowned polymer manufacturers worldwide. Our expertise lies in procuring a diverse selection of standard and filled compounds, which includes color masterbatches. Whether you require high-temperature, high-strength engineering thermoplastics or soft, flexible thermoplastic elastomers, or even conductive and electromagnetic shielding compounds, rest assured that we are fully capable of meeting your needs. Our team is well-equipped to handle any challenge that comes our way.
Our standard materials for robotic 3D printing include the list below, however, we have the equipment, expertise and open minds to experiment with mixing almost anything you have in mind!
Composite materials can vary from carbon, graphene, conductive and even magnetic compounds, mixed with:
ABS/Carbon
PEEK/Carbon
PETG/Carbon
PP/Glass
TPU
PET
PC
PEI
Our equipment
We have modified one of our Noztek extruders to fit onto the arm of our KUKA KR 16 L6-2 Robotic ARM. This is the main machine we work with while producing your prints.
We also use a Noztek Pelletiser to mix the materials and create bespoke blends for our customers.
Achieving rapid robotic 3D printing can be made possible by employing a Dremel attachment with a generously sized nozzle bore. By initially roughing out the model, we can then introduce a cutting bit tool to the robot, allowing for the precise removal of 1 or 2mm of material. This meticulous process ultimately results in a flawlessly smooth finish, ensuring the production of high-quality prints in a remarkably short span of time.
